Life magazine is dead. We now have YouTube. If W. Eugene Smith were alive, he might be thinking "now's my time to learn shaky video."

YouTube doesn't care about your beginning, middle. end. Mallory Simerville
The blog I think represents what journalism is becoming. Now skilled journalists are in competition with every day people who can easily and quickly whip out their camera phones and flip cams. I agree with Alex Garcia and most of his points. When he says that Time Magazine is dead and shaky cam needs to be learned, it makes you think of all the times that journalist weren't the first to a story, but ordinary people were. Overall I feel like the shift in journalism is evident and that Garcia acknowledges it and all of its transitions.
